Challenge 2: Heavyset

Make a heavy set person, studying gravity.
Greetings Challengers,

Thank you for participating in Studio 15's Challenge Arena. This week is Challenge 2: Heavyset. In Studio 15 Challenge Arena there are only two rules:

1. Don't let this interfere with your schoolwork.
2. Have fun.


For Challenge 1 there are these guidelines:

1. Create a Heavyset person: studying weight and gravity.
2. Get Reference, it will help.
3. Try to stress the gesture in your pose.
4. There are no restrictions as to what medium you may use, (3D Modeling, pen and paper, house paint, macaroni and glue, etc.) it is up to you.
5. Don't make anything offensive or "possibly offensive."

DUE DATE is Wednesday the 2nd! (You can turn them in before that if you would like.)

If by Email you must send them in a DAY BEFORE its due.

Challenge 1: Self Portrait

Greetings Challengers,

Thank you for participating in Studio 15's Challenge Arena. This week is Challenge 1: Self Portrait. In Studio 15 Challenge Arena there are only two rules:

1. Don't let this interfere with your schoolwork.
2. Have fun.

For Challenge 1 there are these guidelines:

1. Create a Self Portrait, from a live study.
2. Avoid Photo Reference.
3. Try to make it as realistic as possible, if you can.
4. There are no restrictions as to what medium you may use, (3D Modeling, pen and paper, house paint, macaroni and glue, etc.) it is up to you.
5. Don't make anything offensive or "possibly offensive."

DUE DATE is Wednesday the 24th! (You can turn them in before that if you would like.)

Welcome to Studio 15

Welcome to Studio15 this club is designed to help students progress in there art by peer review.
Practice makes perfect as they say and we will be issuing challenges to help you advance in your art. We will also be having a Gnomon Dvd workshop day, and we will hold a Few sketch Crawl events, along with Demos from some of the instructors here at Cogswell. Feel free to bring in any books/ materials/ or anything that peeks your interest that you think the club would like to see, for Example links to some of your favorite artist, or the Concept art book of a movie or video game.
